How Etsy Offsite Ads fees work in 2026

Etsy advertises your listings on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Bing. You only pay when a shopper clicks one of those ads and buys from your shop within 30 days. When that happens, Etsy adds an Offsite Ads fee on top of your normal selling fees.

The rate depends on your sales volume

If you made under $10,000 on Etsy in the last 365 days, the fee is 15% of the order total and Offsite Ads are optional — you can turn them off. If you made $10,000 or more, the fee drops to 12%, but participation is mandatory.

Is it worth it?

Offsite Ads bring you sales you might not have gotten otherwise — but only if your margins can absorb the extra 12–15%. Use the calculator above to see your profit on a normal sale versus an Offsite Ads sale. If an Offsite Ads sale still leaves healthy profit, they're likely worth keeping on. If they push you near or below breakeven, you may want to raise prices or (if eligible) turn them off.
